Cardiac Imaging
Cardiac imaging allows doctors to diagnose heart conditions and subsequently determine treatment. Using advanced technology to capture images of the heart, cardiac imaging can often pinpoint the presence of disease before any symptoms occur.
Learn MoreDiagnostic Radiology
Technology is making it easier than ever for doctors to treat conditions faster and more effectively. This is especially true when it comes to diagnostic imaging.
Learn MoreGamma Knife
If you’ve been diagnosed with a brain, head or neck tumor, Gamma Knife radiosurgery is the gold standard of treatment. In most cases, Gamma Knife eliminates the need for traditional surgery. Many patients who receive this nonsurgical treatment can resume their normal, daily routine as soon as treatment is over. Gamma Knife technology creates a nearly painless, incision-free treatment alternative for cancerous and non-cancerous tumors of the brain. More than 30,000 patients are treated safely and effectively with Gamma Knife surgery each year. Gamma Knife surgery is a unique treatment method that isn’t actually a knife. Gamma Knife treatment is a form of stereotactic radiosurgery, a nonsurgical radiation therapy that enables highly focused radiation beams to be targeted directly to the lesion. The Gamma Knife uses 192 individual radiation beams to hit only the target while minimizing damage to the surrounding healthy tissue.
Learn MoreInterventional Radiology and Image-Guided Surgery
Interventional radiology (IR) is an image-guided procedure that lets doctors see inside the body using traditional vascular radiology (like x-ray, CT, vascular ultrasound or MRI) to perform a variety of procedures.
