If your provider requested that your labs be collected at a specific time of day (e.g. a “testosterone before 10:00 a.m.” or a “cortisol at 8:00 a.m.”) please contact them before scheduling a new time. In some cases, the timing of the lab collection is an important factor in generating accurate results.
Reminder - with certain blood tests, you may be instructed to fast for up to eight hours before your appointment.
