Anderson Hospital Guild Makes $70,000 Donation for Equipment Purchases
Mercy Health - Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that the Guild of Anderson Hospital has made a significant donation to support equipment purchases at the hospital.
Guild President Charlotte Rousse presented hospital leadership with a $70,000 check, which the hospital will use to purchase a wide range of equipment to support patient care. Purchases include a barium swallow chair, ultrasound probe sanitizing machine, stretcher with stirrups, bladder scanner for the post-anesthesia care unit, a glidescope for intubations and two neonatal CPAPs (continuous passive airflow compressors to assist in caring for babies with breathing disorders).
This gift was made possible from funds raised through Guild’s gift shop sales, which totaled $30,000 last year, and from $40,000 raised through numerous Guild events held throughout 2016.
The Guild anticipates continued strong sales at the gift shop, which is newly renovated and offers unique gifts, decorator items and flowers. The Guild of Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital raises funds that help the hospital provide top quality care to the patients it serves.
