Mercy Health HealthPlexes Pump It Up for UNICEF on Saturday, November 18
The Mercy Health HealthPlexes are joining an international effort to raise money for UNICEF to build water pumps in East Africa. Clean water is fundamental to survival but 2.1 billion people around the world don’t have access to it.
On November 18, the Mercy Health HealthPlexes invite you to join thousands of people around the world to Pump It Up for UNICEF.
Just one pump can bring clean, safe drinking water to an entire community and with a global community of health clubs, instructors and exercisers all inspired to make a difference, there’s an opportunity to change lives on a scale like never before.
Here’s how you can take part. The following HealthPlexes are hosting a class open to members and non-members for a $15 donation which goes to the water pump fundraising effort:
- Anderson HealthPlex, 7495 State Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45255: THE FIELD fitness challenge, 9-11 a.m.
- Fairfield HealthPlex, 3050 Mack Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014: Boot Camp at noon or 1 p.m.
- Queen City HealthPlex, 3131 Queen City Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45238: Boot Camp at 9 a.m.
- West Clermont HealthPlex, 4101 Bach-Buxton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45103: Cardio Muscle Challenge at 8:30 a.m. or HIGH Fitness at 9:30 a.m.
If you can’t make a class but still want to donate, you can do so on the HealthPlex fundraising page: https://movetheworld.live/us/17-1800.
