The advanced certification comes with the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark. The Gold Seal of Approval® and the Heart-Check mark represent symbols of quality from their respective organizations.
Additionally, The Joint Commission recertified Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital and Mt. Orab Medical Center as Acute Stroke Ready Hospitals. Mercy Health – Harrison, Rookwood and Queen City Medical Centers also hold Acute Stroke Ready certifications.
