Welcome from the Program Director

Thank you for considering the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program at Mercy Health – West Hospital. We are excited about the opportunity to potentially welcome you into our close-knit, dynamic community, where both professional and personal growth are a top priority.

Our residency program is designed to build upon the strong foundation you developed during pharmacy school. You will have the opportunity to refine your clinical skills, enhance your critical thinking and expand your knowledge across a variety of disease states. We believe that excellent pharmacy practice is rooted in both professional development and a balanced, fulfilling life, and we are here to support you in achieving both.

At Mercy Health – West Hospital, we recognize that each resident has unique goals. Our program is flexible, allowing us to tailor your experience to help you meet those goals. Through a diverse and challenging curriculum, paired with a team of supportive and knowledgeable preceptors, we ensure that you receive the mentorship and guidance you need to excel in clinical practice.
