Are there other pharmacy residents at Mercy Health – St. Charles Hospital?
Yes, in addition to the PGY2 psychiatric pharmacy resident, there are two PGY1 pharmacy practice residents.
Would you early commit a PGY1 resident to the PGY 2 psychiatric pharmacy resident position?
Yes, we would consider an interested current PGY1 Bon Secours Mercy Health resident for early commitment of the PGY2 psychiatric pharmacy residency position.
When does the residency year begin?
The residency year begins on July 1 unless otherwise agreed upon.
What is the staffing requirement?
The PGY2 resident staffs every third weekend in the Behavioral Health Institute at Mercy Health – St Charles Hospital. There are no holiday or on-call requirements.
Is funding available to attend AAPP Annual Meeting?
Funding may be available to cover conference fees to attend AAPP Annual Meeting but is not guaranteed.
