Meet the Director and Team — Pharmacy Ambulatory Residency at St. Vincent Medical Center

Welcome from the Program Director

Thank you for your interest in the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency Program at Mercy Health — St. Vincent Medical Center. This is an exciting time to pursue a career in ambulatory care pharmacy, as pharmacists continue to expand their role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care and improving outcomes across healthcare settings.

At Mercy Health, ambulatory care pharmacists are integrated into a variety of clinical services, including chronic disease state management through collaborative practice agreements, population health initiatives, transitions of care, comprehensive medication management and home-based care. These experiences allow residents to expand their clinical knowledge, develop confidence in patient care decision-making and refine the skills needed to become independent ambulatory care practitioners.

Since our first resident graduated in 2015, I have had the privilege of watching each resident grow throughout the year and achieve personal and professional milestones. I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our program. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and share what makes our residency experience unique.
